Jam fighters

Cuộc thi làm phim tài liệu First Time Filmmakers với chủ đề “Đô thị hóa ở Việt Nam” do quỹ Ford tài trợ, phối hợp với kênh Discovery Asia và hãng sản xuất phim Uproar Asia đã công bố danh sách 12 đề án qua vòng sơ tuyển. 12 ứng viên này đã được đào tạo làm phim hai ngày (28 và 29/10/2009) dưới hình thức hội thảo tại khách sạn Saigon Hotel – 80 Lý Thường Kiệt.
Ngày mai, 30/10/2009, ban tổ chức sẽ tổ chức họp báo tại khách sạn Hilton để công bố năm (5) dự án xuất sắc được lựa chọn để tài trợ làm phim. Năm ứng viên sẽ làm việc với Uproar để xây dựng kết cấu phim, lên lịch sản xuất…
Danh sách 12 đề án lọt vào vòng thứ nhất:

3. The City of Passion
4. What I want to Do
5. The Jam Fighters – Volunteers et al, efforts to solve iconic traffic problems
6. New Vitality
7. Legend of Silk Wharf – Silk making
8. Ha Long Bay – Iconic locale; life on boats and inter-generational perspectives
9. Countryside Spirit – Water puppets
10. Best Footballer
11. In Search for Old Crying
12. Ganh Rong Hang

that comment about the title was complimenting the filmmakers for the title of their project … i didn’t mean to suggest changing he title of the post … but it is sort of clever, and catchy ;-D
