Dogtooth

Greece is back on the map of World Cinema … Today, writer/director Yorgos Lanthimos won the top prize in the sidebar competition Un Certain Regard at the 62nd Festival de Cannes with his second feature film, Dogtooth (Kynodontas). The film was described by Karina Longworth at Spout as “the only narrative I’ve seen [at Cannes] that really feels like it represents the work of an emerging new talent.” Worldwide sales representation by the vertical French conglomerate MK2.

Giải Un Certain Regard tôn vinh những tác phẩm đầu tay có nét độc đáo, mới lạ và nguyên bản. Nội dung phim “Dogtooh”:
Một gia đình có ba người con sống ở vùng ngoại ô. Bao quanh nhà họ là một hàng rào cao. Bọn trẻ con không bao giờ được bố mẹ cho ra khỏi nhà. Chúng được giáo dục, vui chơi theo cách mà bố mẹ chúng cho là phù hợp nhất, không bị ảnh hưởng từ thế giới bên ngoài. Bọn trẻ nghĩ rằng máy bay trên trời là đồ chơi, zombie là những bông hoa vàng bé xíu.
Người duy nhất được ra vào nhà họ là Christina, một nhân viên bảo vệ ở công ty cha bọn trẻ. Người cha đưa cô tới để giúp cậu con trai giải nhiệt sex. Cả gia đình đều quý Christina, nhất là cô con gái lớn. Một lần, Christina tặng cô một chiếc băng đô có gắn đá có thể phát sáng trogn bóng tối, và đòi hỏi được trả công…
Nghe hấp dẫn nhỉ. Đúng là phim tự sự.
