Last year the Film Studies Program had the honor of hosting a Shooting Script Workshop with director extraordinaire Charlie Nguyen. After two intense weeks with Charlie, the K3 class made a short film together called Tiếng Chó Tru, and the screening party at Hanoi Cinematheque was a thrill for all of us. Charlie be will back for another workshop with K4, beginning 17 April 2009. You can start a conversation with him now by posting comments below. We’re pleased to announce that Tiếng Chó Tru was accepted into the short film category of the 2009 Vietnamese International Film Festival, taking place next month in Los Angeles, California. Congratulations to K3 and producer Vu Quynh Ha.
