Priscilla Smith
Hello to Film Studies Students,
I am Priscilla Smith, the Faculty Director of the photography program bringing the 15 American students to Vietnam. We are very excited that we can have this opportunity to meet students from the other side of the world and have an exchange of thoughts and creativity. We will be in Hanoi 3 times throughout the month and I look forward to being able to share our creative work with each other during that time.
Our program will take us from the hills of Sapa to the buzz of HCMC and many parts between. Our objective is to create individual portfolios of both pictorialist and documentary photographs. With the many village stops along the way and our work as volunteers for several NGO’s we will have many experiences with which to work.
I have been reading the comments on the blog and see how very welcoming you all are to us – how history has changed. Thank you for your hospitality to the students of University of Delaware!
Cheers,
Priscilla
We are waiting to see you, Priscilla…
I’ve been to Sapa last year… That september’s sunshine made sapa a sparklingly colorful place (though it is always famous for colour richness :D).
Sapa also has another beautiful look in winter… I hope that you and your students will have a great time there :D…
