Nguyễn Thị Kim Thanh
I think I must be oldest member in the 4th course of Film Studies Program. Because, I have 4 “wives”, 2 “children” (1 daughter and 1 son) and 1 “grand-daughter”. I really feel happy and proud of these. But everybody will wonder “Then, how old are you?” and after all, “you are woman or man?” because my full name is Thanh, Nguyen Thi Kim (In Vietnamese, “Thi” means female).
About the reason why my “wives” married me, one of my “wives” said that:
We love you
Cos you’re attractive
Your character’s assiduous
Made me charmed
When saying love you
We don’t be afraid
Love isn’t foolish
Not be real love
And I really like the last sentence “Love isn’t foolish, not be real love”. Do you think so?
My full name is Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh (I have many nicknames: Kim; Thanh Soi (Thanh the Wolf); Thanh Coi (Thanh Thin); Banh bao (Dumpling)… You can choose one of them to call me…
I’m 22 and have graduated from the Faculty of Literature in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities last June. My first job was in a private media company called iNET Media Coporation, directly managing SMS (short message service) on TV. For me, it’s very great time. Working, earning money by myself and more important, I have had great colleagues.
But I refused all to choose Film Studies Program. And now, I’m a member of the 4th course of this program. My major is screenwriting. I do want to improve my media skills, especially skills to work in the field of television.
Like watching films, I also wanna dig in information about film industry and to be trained professionally in film industry. Nobody can say about future, I don’t know and not sure that I’ll pursue to the utmost this film field, but this course, surely will give me new opportunities… Who knows, one day, I’ll become a famous screenwriter :D…
I was born and grew in a poor countryside. It is a west province of Ha Noi capital, called Thai Binh. Thai Binh which means peace is also called “the country of 5 – ton woman”. It surely has no connection with obesity… The reason is that Thai Binh is home of rice. Thai Binh’s people also have a big love for learning and produce many talents for Viet Nam. I love my countryside, my Thai Binh, my rice’s home. And the Thai Binh always warmly welcomes everybody. And if you have chance to pass by, I’m sure you’ll love it.
